How does it work?

If you are interested in partecipating, there are a few steps you have to follow.
First of all, all the videos must not last more than 6 minutes. Then, it should abide by the following structure:

Introduce yourself

At the beginning of your video briefly tell us something about you and specifically focus on the place where you are from and if you have any kind of language influences (ie. foreign origins, staying abroad for any lenght of time, etc).

List of Words

At the end of this post you are provided with a list of words you should read during your video. Those words were selected because of their changable pronunciation so that they are suitable for noticing the different accents of the English language.

Phrases

This file also includes some "interactive requests"; this will better show us your cadence.

Extras

You can include some extras at the end of your video, if you wish. They may comprise some specific slang of your area or anything about your language you want to share with the EnglishAcross community.

Once you're done with the video shooting, you should upload your video here
and send the link you get to: englishacross@gmail.com
also adding your name, city and country in the body of the email.
We'll upload it as soon as possible.

Please do not care about your diction, because that would make the video useless since the whole project concerns accents.
